Renowned composer Adán López Dávila of the band Los Acosta has died at the age of 61 after a battle with cancer, according to his representatives. The Mexican musician, who died on Tuesday, was known for his romantic writing style and the various hits he wrote during a career spanning more than three decades López Dávila was a fundamental part of the Grammy award winning group’s success in the 1990s. He had gone through a long illness and spent his last days in the hospital.
